How every figure is calculated
- Capture
- Thirty-one live streams from 15+ venues (trades, order books, liquidations, open interest) are recorded continuously on our own servers since 2026-09-15. Every figure on the site is computed from that record, and every figure carries the time it was computed. A stale figure is labelled; a missing one is a dash, never a zero.
- Market control
- For each window (1h to 24h) the bias runs from −1 (shorts in control) to +1 (longs), from open interest, funding and aggressive flow across venues, with a confidence, the leading regime and any blocked side. Forward-tested on no window; it carries zero weight in the Terminal's trade decisions.
- Lightning
- The five-minute orderflow read: which side did the work and whether price moved for it. When flow is two-sided it says quiet rather than printing a zero that looks like balance.
- Indicators
- RSI and CVD divergences, session VWAP, PVSRA vector candles and structure, counted per side. Under three on a side is no setup, not a weak one; a grade is a grade of a setup that has never been measured to work.
- Funding, basis, open interest
- Funding per eight hours (hourly venues scaled), its annualised rate, mark over index in basis points, and open interest in BTC from each venue's own API every ten seconds, with an OI-weighted aggregate. Coverage is stated against the credible open interest CoinGecko lists.
- Liquidation map
- A model, labelled projected. Positions opened in each bar are placed by the change in open interest and the side of the flow, and each is given the liquidation price its leverage implies; a band stands until price trades through it. A grey base from price structure spans the whole window; the coloured layer from measured positioning reaches about a fortnight.
- Order book
- A measurement. Binance's perpetual book, every recorded hour reduced once into $25 rows and one-minute columns, so any window from twelve hours to the whole capture is a slice; the note says how far the book reaches. Pictures are retaken every fifteen minutes and say when they were taken.
- Observed liquidations
- Forced closes the venues reported, summed across the markets that publish in BTC, fifteen minutes behind, in fifteen-minute buckets. Observed, not projected.
- BGR sentiment rating
- 0 (panicked) to 100 (delusional). What is being said and what is being held, never what price did: the day's or week's headlines weighted by age, beside the long/short split against its month, which side is opening open interest, funding against flat, and where the forced exits stand. Shorts still opening into a rise read as fear. The published Fear & Greed index is shown beside it and not folded in. Read it backwards: greed is where longs are crowded.
- Crowding score
- Zero to ten: how one-sided the day's coverage is, from a keyword lean per headline. It measures what is already being said, not what will happen. A crowded story is a crowded position.
- Scanner rating
- Zero to a hundred from the markers a scan could answer, weighted by category, with coverage stated; a single veto (a live mint authority, a freeze authority, a honeypot flag) overrides the number. Untested against outcomes, and it says so.
